Welcome to Sacramento's Leading
Republican Club!

Welcome New Citizens

Each month members of Republicans of River City, Sacramento and San Joaquin County Republican Women welcome New American Citizens on the steps of the

Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, 1515 J Street, Sacramento, CA.

We register New Citizens to VOTE
We
register them as Republican Voters.

The New Citizens ceremony begins approximately at 10:00 a.m. and is over by 11:00 a.m. This is when the new citizen exits the building and lines up to update their Social Security status. This is time that we need more volunteers to help register each new citizens in line with our clip-boards in hand, to tend the booth tables and to answer any questions the new citizen may have.

Come earlier if you can to help set up the tents and tables.

YOU TOO can join with other Republican volunteers as we give an American flag to each person who registers as a Republican and/or to each child at the ceremony.

Maybe you can’t take off work and volunteer but you would like to help sponsor a ceremony by making a contribution of just $30.00 so we can purchase American flags to give to our newest citizens and voters.

If you would like to be a sponsor of a New Citizens Ceremony mail your check to Republicans of River City, P.O. Box 1776,  Carmichael, 95609.

Thanks again for your support and help.

Ronald Wilson Reagan
February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004
40th President of the United States (1981–1989
33rd Governor of California (1967–1975)

We’re Republican because like President Reagan

• We BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.

• We BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.

• We BELIEVE in free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.

• We BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.

• We BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations, and that the best government is that which governs least.

• We BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.

• We BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.

• We BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.

• FINALLY, We believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
